X5 Set
The Veloz X5 truck set is used by racers and hill bombers alike. The X5 Setup can handle any speed you feel like dishing out. This is Veloz’s best speed set for serious down hill racers who like riding loose, sensitive trucks with out fear of speed wobble. The X5 truck set up make speed wobbles a part of history. X5 is not a tight slalom set up, but, if set up on shorter boards, riders can achieve tight turning on 90 degree turns or tighter.
The front truck (V5F) has a reverse kingpin set at 50 degrees and the rear X truck (VXR) is 0 degree kingpin angle which allows for front wheel steering only. The traction and slippage control is greatly enhanced. Keep in mind the aero foil directional wing truck design is alive and very noticeable when riding speeds over 30mph. The VXR even has the base plate reversed for further aerodynamic performance.

If you are familiar with the Landyachtz Evo, the reason they are so popular, is that the trucks are mounted at varying angles. The front truck is angled up to provide quicker turning, and the back truck is angled down to make it more stable. This should remind you of riding a bicycle, where the front wheels steers, and the back wheel is fixed. The Veloz Trucks work much the same way. The back truck is set at 0 degrees, so the back of the longboard will be very stable, and the front of the board is used to steer. Veloz Trucks also come in a 3 pack kit, with a front truck, a back truck, and a 0 degree truck for downhill riding.

Veloz trucks are easily the most precise and stable cast trucks I've ever ridden. My first thought when I put these trucks on was how sexy they looked with their aero specific bodies. These are beautifully casted trucks. I then took out the stock bushing and put 87a venom downhills all around. I took these trucks out to russel for like 3 hours and man are these things ever stable. I didn't get any wobbles and some of those runs were my fastest down Russel ever! I can safely say that aerospecifics of the trucks actually increase your performance levels. I went over to glen edyth afterwards and freerode with them and if you loosen them up man do they have a controlled buttery slide. I'd rather rock these then my paris 180s or randals or maybe even smokies.

Should have read your review. I bought the trucks really to have the 0 rear truck but it was to mount on a DROP THROUGH. It doesn't work
It's really a shame, I don't understand why they needed to put so much aluminum on the front of the truck.

Theres a HUGE safety aspect in downhill riding. And these trucks would totally take away the danger. Push how safe these are and everyone will want them!

It is impossible to absolutely prevent speed wobbles, while these may reduce the chance of getting them very much, speedwobbles can be caused by resonating frequencies. Though that is not to say they are not cool. I just think that claim is a bit under-informed.

These Trucks (Using the V5F and VXR rear) substantially reduce speed wobble by nature. Speed wobbles can be caused by resonating frequencies, especially at super high speeds. With a 50 Degree front truck and a Zero degree rear truck it makes turning much like a car. This is not to say that cars don't get speed wobbles at super high speeds but that using a setup like this on a longboard skateboard, the likelyhood of the board getting speed wobble is drastically reduced, if not eliminated for most riding.
